Privacy Policy

I'm Ondřej, the solo developer behind TACTI-7 (SWU Counter). I built this app because I love Star Wars: Unlimited and wanted a better way to track my matches. Your privacy matters to me, and I want to be completely transparent about how the app handles your data — on both iOS and Android.

What the App Stores

TACTI-7 saves the following information locally on your device:

• Your match history and game scores
• Leader and deck preferences
• App settings
• Achievement and memory-fragment progress

Where is it stored? Right on your phone — Apple's standard on-device storage on iOS, or the equivalent local storage on Android. I can't see your match data. It's yours and yours alone, and it never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it or share a match (see "Sharing Matches with Friends" below).

Analytics & App Improvement

To make TACTI-7 better, I use PostHog, an analytics service, on servers based in the EU, to understand how people use the app. This works the same way on iOS and Android.

What I collect:

• Anonymous product-usage events: app opens, session counts, tutorial progress, matches started/ended (leader, base, score, duration — game data, not personal data), tab and feature navigation, achievement/memory-fragment unlocks
• Purchase-funnel events (paywall views, product selection, purchase and trial outcomes) so I can tell whether the subscription flow works well
• Basic device context: app version, device model, OS version

What I deliberately don't collect:

• No screen recordings or session replay — this feature exists in the analytics SDK but is explicitly turned off in the app
• No screen-view tracking — I don't log which screens you open, only the specific product events listed above
• No advertising identifiers — no IDFA on iOS, no Advertising ID on Android — and no ad-network SDKs of any kind
• No personal information — no name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts, or photos

How I protect your privacy:

• Your data is tied to a random ID generated on your device, not your Apple ID, Google account, name, or email
• I don't share or sell data to third parties or advertisers
• I don't track you across other apps or websites
• No advertisers ever see your data — this is purely for app improvement

Why I do this: As a solo developer, understanding how players use TACTI-7 helps me focus on features that matter and fix problems quickly.

What I Don't Do

Let me be clear about what I never do:

• Collect your personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Track your location
• Access your photos, contacts, or files
• Use advertising identifiers or ad SDKs to track you across apps
• Sell or share your data with advertisers or third parties
• Use your data for any purpose other than improving the app

Sharing Matches with Friends

You can send a match to another player using HoloNet Link — an animated QR code shown on your screen that the other player scans with their phone's camera. This works between iOS and Android.

• The match data is encoded directly into the QR frames — nothing is uploaded to a server or sent over your local network or the internet
• The camera is used only to scan the code; the app doesn't access your photo library or save any camera images
• You have to manually start a share and manually scan it — it never happens automatically or in the background
• Only match info is shared (scores, leaders, results) — never personal data

Subscriptions

TACTI-7 Prime is an optional subscription that unlocks extra features. Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store (iOS) or Google through Google Play (Android) — I never see your payment details.

If you need help with billing, visit Apple's subscription support or Google Play's subscription help, depending on where you subscribed.

Kids & Privacy

TACTI-7 does not collect any personal information like names, emails, or locations. The anonymous analytics we collect cannot identify individual users. The app is suitable for users of all ages.

Your Control

You have control over your data:

• Delete local data: Just uninstall the app
• Share a match: Use HoloNet Link if you want
• Opt out of analytics: Currently, analytics are collected automatically to help improve the app, but no personal data is ever included
